On the day of the proposal, we’ll handle all the preparations and ensure everything runs smoothly so you can focus entirely on this special moment.

Do I need to have a specific idea for my marriage proposal already?

No. You don’t need to have a finished plan yet. We’d be happy to help you choose the decorations and design the entire experience. Together, we’ll develop an idea that suits you both.

Where can marriage proposals take place?

Our focus is on the Campus Hotel Hertenstein on Lake Lucerne in Weggis. In addition, we also plan and organize marriage proposals at select other locations throughout Switzerland.

Do you already have your own venue? We can find a suitable solution for that as well.

Your marriage proposal is guaranteed to go smoothly, even in bad weather. The Campus Hotel Hertenstein features a sheltered indoor area with large windows and a view of Lake Lucerne. That way, you can still enjoy the special view even if it rains.

Can I customize the decorations?

Yes. Our decoration packages provide a stylish foundation but can be customized and expanded to suit your preferences. Depending on the concept, options include illuminated letters, neon signs, additional candles, flowers, or sparkler fountains.

Can I rent decorations without booking a full planning service?

Yes. If you’d like to organize your marriage proposal yourself, you can also book our decorations and decoration packages for pickup.

Can I incorporate my own ideas or personal elements?

Of course. Personal details are what make a marriage proposal unique. Whether it’s a specific song, personal memories, flowers, photos, or an idea all your own—we’ll do our best to incorporate your vision into the concept.

Can the marriage proposal be photographed or filmed?

Yes. Upon request, we can arrange for a professional photographer and videographer to discreetly document the proposal. That way, you can not only experience the moment but also relive it again and again later.

Is live music an option?

Yes. To create a particularly emotional moment, we can arrange for a violinist or other live musicians upon request.

How far in advance should I book my marriage proposal?

The sooner, the better—especially for popular dates and venues. If you’ve already set your desired date, we recommend making your inquiry as early as possible. Of course, last-minute requests are also possible, depending on availability.

How much does a fully organized marriage proposal cost?

The cost depends on your preferences, the decorations, the venue, and any additional services. Our planning packages start at 950 CHF, plus the venue rental fee for the Campus Hotel Hertenstein.

No. For a marriage proposal at the Campus Hotel Hertenstein, the venue is billed separately. This ensures transparency regarding which costs are for planning and decorations and which are for the venue.

No. If you book our full planning service, we’ll handle all on-site preparation and coordination. We’ll provide you with all the important details about the schedule, so you can focus entirely on your marriage proposal on the day itself.


What happens if my partner notices something?

We plan the event to be as discreet and unobtrusive as possible. Together, we’ll also figure out how you can bring your partner to the venue without giving away the real reason for the event too early.

Can I combine the proposal with a dinner or an overnight stay afterward?

Yes. Depending on the location, we can incorporate additional services such as a romantic dinner, an overnight stay, an aperitif, or other special experiences.
